Check below for answers... I've got a feeling it might be the valve guides, but is there any way of telling. Will a compression test help? * Vacuum test will let you know if the valve guides are worn

I used to have a Chevy Sprint that burned a quart of oil every 200 mi. (no leaks), but ran like new and never fouled the plugs. Never noticed any smoke in the exhaust either. How is this possible? (S
