The two holes should match up with the bolts that fasten the front carb to the intake manifold, if my memory is correct. The choke cable approaches the linkage from below the carbs. Regards, Jerry Ca

The bracket your describe sounds like the one on several earlier B's Ive seen. Question, are the two holes threaded? If so, it should fit right behind (repeat, behind) the front carb throat flange.
