Hello again, I really only wondered if it was possible to take an MGB Roadster bodyshell and use the parts from a GT. If you cut the roof off a monocoque car it would probably snap in half! Insurance

Chris, Bear in mind that the GT was concieved and buils AFTER the roadster thus it is really only a roadster with a roof - and as such has the same body integrity as the convertible - however - IMHO

Hi MG nuts, I was on my way to work the other day, and started thinking about the strangest thing. Has anyone ever converted a BGT to a roadster? I know the windows, axle and (oviously) the back seat

I saw a "conversion" in England a few years ago - it was not especially attractive, the "convertor" had removed the roof/hatch and put in a boot assembly with all attendant panels - he did not howeve
