My oil pressure hovers around 50 or a little less at idle when warmed up, and the Temp needle stays like glue around about 1/4 to 1/8 inch (best way to describe it) below the "N"... Others are sayin

What year MG do you have? Different thermostats (165, 180, 195) run at different places. My oil pressure is between 30# and 60# idling, depending on how long I've been driving. It's usually around 45

Just for others reference: my rebuilt MGB engine in my '70 gets around 80 psi at startup and drops to only 70 psi after warmup and at idle. I account this to the tight bearing tolerances as it is dif

My 72B tends to hover just over the 60 mark at idle after running for a bit, then drops back to around fifty. By temp guage also seems to stay around that area that you mentioned, however this is in
