- I just pulled the adapter, the rubber doodad was partially shredded. I reseated it and reassembled it. I fired the car up and it doesn't leak. I don't know whether it'll last 10 miles or 10,000. Hope

- The last time I looked, Moss didn't have the hanging filter head for '68 and later Bs; it's NA in the catalog. They haven't had it for years. I picked mine up for another car in the 1980's, never use

- Right, that's what I did. But there wasn't enough room for the screwdriver and it tore the can. I couldn't bend the base of the can after I'd cut away all of it's side. So I had to stick a screwdriv

- You can use a filter with a non-return valve or a 'stand-pipe', depending upon how the filter mounts. Each filter is different. This is just a matter of matching the filter to the application. I use

- Hmmm, my spinon filter head has the same cooler connection (4-0'clock)as the cartridge type. The hanging-filter head has it at 8 o'clock. I had to use a longer hose to the oil cooler because of that.
