TRs from the 4A on, and most if not all of the GT6s have recovery bottles. You can buy them and the brackets from TRF. The bracket in question is made for the TR6 and fits under a radiator bolt, but

I've done this pretty much by feel several times. Turned out fine in each case, but your milage may differ. I've never seen or heard of a vacuum switch on a (4 cyl) MGB. Big Healeys and such had them
