Have had a rattle for years in the TD and I think I found it! It seems that the generator is a hair to close to the bonnet and banks on it sometimes. Now the problem is, that the belt is to loose to

take the belt to napa or some other reputable parts place and give them the belt part# if it is still visiable and they can cross it to one the next size shorter which will be either 1/2 or 1 inch sh
