Does anyone know what to put in the rover 5 speed gear box on a Morgan Plus 8 I have been told everything from straight automatic transmission fluid to a mix of auto fluid and 90 wt to 75 wt hypoid.

If you have the same Rover 5 speed as used in the SD1, the TR7&8, and some mid 80's jags, the factory did go to a recommendation of ATF after having problems with the first motion shaft bearing. Also
