I too bought this setup from APT and had the same problem with the header being smaller than the pipe. I fixed it by going to Kragen's and getting a 1 5/8 to 1/7/8 pipe adapter and another clamp, and

Fellow Listers, FWIW, I had my headers Jet Hot Coated in 1993 and they still look new. Jet Hot is the only coating with which I have ever had success. In the past, I tried all the heat paints applied

I understand that "Powder coating isn't the same as the ceramic". I also know exactly what is powder-coating. I am wondering what is the durability of powder-coating in such a high temp application.

The powdercoating place I use uses a ceramic product on the headers. It looks amazingly like Jet-Hot. How does Jet-Hot apply their stuff? Is it a 'powder' or a dip? I have ceramic coating applied at

I have used Jet-Hot on several of my street rods. They do a very nice job and it is lifetime work..never about rust or chipping. Money is sometimes high dollar, but in the long run you will be more
