My experience says no locktite. I double nut them to turn them down and then use brass nuts. Have never had a problem. Let's wait until others respond. I have also never used stainless but with bras

Loctite wouldn't do much good here, I'm afraid, since heat is the tool to loosen loctitened fasteners. I would try lockwashers. If the nut is tight, so is the stud since the whole assembly is under

I agree--no loctite, but a little copper impregnated compound would be great--prevents the binding that takes place onthe manifold nuts. --David

I pulled my SUs and intake tube tonight. One of the studs behind the tube came off with the nut. Should I use loctite when refitting it and what type if so? Thanks. Tomorrow the Weber goes on!
