I don't think I would put it in a gearbox. I run it through my air tools on a regular basis. It is good for cleaning and freeing up seized parts. I've also used it to clean and lube tool surfaces and

Here is a link to the MMO MSDS: http://images.shipstore.com/SS/Images/MAV/MAVMMOMSDS.pdf Looks like it's oil with mineral spirits and a soup of aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons including p-dichl

That's all I used in my ZS carb when installed for about a year. Now it's used in the HS4's and has been for over two years, all year-round. Mike '79B /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool

Great for cleaning and breaking rust. Would NOT recommend using in a gearbox. Does not provide much lubrication. Pete /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.

MMO makes a good cutting oil; I use it when drilling holes in hardened steel and such. It has lots of valid uses, but I would expect it to do a poor job as a transmission oil, allowing wear on slidin

I'd just like to defend the "reputation" of MMO... it will NOT cause adverse effects like fouling plugs, etc. in the quantities used in filling the SU carbs. I've run quite a bit of this stuff throug

Hi all, My experience with MMo has been wonderful. My MG sat in a garage for 14 years. The fuel tank sending unit was of course gummed up. I pulled the tank and used lacquer thinner and then a slushi

I wouldn't be in a hurry to give all the credit to MMO. The gas gauge sending unit in my Midget froze up a few years ago after the car hadn't been run for a long time. (Another of my extended restor
