I don't think the 1275's in Spridgets ever were equipped with mechanical pumps, but the same block was used some other models that did. Consequently, VB and Moss do not list a mechanocal pump replac

The 1275 in my 60 Sprite has a mechanical pump. I believe the engine came from a 71 Midget. The pump is at the front of the engine on the drivers side. I have never had it off - it has always worked

Bob, That's the setup I have on the street Bugeye with a Weber. It works fine. I am almost 100% positive the APT cams have a lobe for the pump (at least the regrinds, maybe not the billet), as do the

It could be a late 1275 Spridget block a 1275 Marina in-line block, a 1275 A+ Ital in-line block or some transverse block. You can buy a Marina or Ital fuel pump for it which I think is a more powerf
