I always switch to an electric pump, then again I always switch to a 1275 ;) I mount my electric pumps behind the right rear wheel as stock on later Spridgets. -- Frank Clarici Toms River, NJ

Been using an electric pump for ever or so it seems. Mounted it on the sheet metal forward of the rear axle on the passenger side. Also have a filter between the gas tank and the pump and another one

I have two. One located in the right rear wheel arch, a non- diaphragm type and a second mounted on the left front wheel housing, a German Diaphragm type. If the rear one ever fails all I have to do
