Tom, I use regular ol' "doctor's gloves" -- latex examination gloves. Not for heavy duty stuff, but where I want to keep my hands clean. They sure make cleanup after an oil change easy, for instance

Second that--those "doctor" latex exam gloves are very useful, disposable, have excellent "feel" and are cheap at medical supply stores. But always get the latex type, not the vinyl type they sell in
