But aren't the faster courses (tours and all) good practice for Nationals? I know that's I we go. I figure I might as well get used to it because I don't see and slow courses in the near future at Na

I think Roger clocked my son (AS 136) at 66 with the radar gun on Saturday. Sunday was probably a little quicker. I don't think there was much issue with going off the surface where the top speed was

Remember that the original purpose of NTs was to prepare folks for National Competition. That includes procedures, for sure... but also the type of courses that are common. I don't want to get back i

I didn't have a radar gun, but I was working 2nd heat in what was probably the fastest section of the course at the beginning of the 2nd slalom. The Z06s were fast, but while Eric Strelnicks was neve

Well, I guess I'm ready to put my opinion out there to be ripped apart by the team.net faithful. I saw absolutely nothing wrong with the course or speets at Meridian. I ran the first tour there in '9

IMO, the speed in Meridian was not as much as issue as the long straights which IMO favored the high horsepower over handling. -Wally

Just to clarify, my comment was in no way related to safety issues. I know better than to assume that speed = unsafe. I have no doubt this was a safe and well run event. No ripping necessary. :) Patr
