Thanks for your hospitality this summer when I passed through Marquette on the way to Conclave. As I drove across the UP I saw that many of the mailboxes seemed to have some kind of pivotting design

Alan got it right Michael. Also some people have a summer and a winter mail box with the winter one mounted several feet above the summer box which gets covered with the drifts and plowed snow. John
