This is my opinion. Being a good driver and having a car that handles well is better than having more HP. I really don't think the 13's will have any more traction over the 14's although the increase

Right now he is running on 14x6 wheels with 205/55-14 tires. The difference between that and 13x9 wheels with 225/50-13 tires is very significant. Probably will feel like as much of a difference as g

The tires and wheels would be next on my list, too. 13xwide(not a 13x6) makes a considerable difference, at least on my VW Rabbit(DSP) - I switched from a 14x6/205/55-14 to 13x7 w215/50-13 R1s a few
