In the past few days there have been several references to Miata engines in MGs. Is that happening? How common? Does it fit very well and do you use the whole drive train? Just curious, not intending

There was some talk of this a while back on the MG bbs. Someone mentioned that the engine is too tall. You might as well just put in a V8. The Miata engine is the same size or smaller depending on th

Good to hear from you. You have the same year MGB & Miata as I if I remember correctly. I was just curious. You know, the 1.8L Miata is a bit faster than the stock MG V-8 (like .3 seconds 0-60). Wit

I'm just curious what you were thinking of when you wrote the statement above. Each of these cars is/was the world's largest selling sports car of its time, so where does the "underdog" come in? -- M

Nobody expected them to take off like they did? Maybe not in the case of the B (I can't even comment here, my late model B is older than I am), but Mazda was IIRC "crazy" to think that the MX5 would

I have a Miata, everyone, including major publications, thinks its an underpowered "Chick-Car", not a real sports car. I have an MGB, everyone, including major publications, bad mouths it for being u
