On all Sprites from bugeyes through October 1962 and Midgets from June '61 through the same vintage, the front brakes are drums, and the rear drums are of a different design from all later spridgets

Well, you could always set the balance right. But you might find that the balance is so light on the rears that the discs are useless. The main advantage to discs is that they don't fade from heat. V
