I went to the local Honda dealer and got motorcycle fork oil. If you look at the top of your shock, it should be pretty much self explanatory where you put it in. I put new ones on several years ago,

20 wt motorcycle fork oil is what you want. Conversely (couldn't resist - sorry), you could use Automatic transmission fluid. Both of these products are approximately the correct weight and include
