You might call around to some local trailer shops (the guys who sell them and most likely build them too), sometimes they will rent you one rather cheaply. The guy here in Baton Rouge will rent a 16

Just rent a cube van and ask for a second loading ramp, tell them its for a piano or something equally creative. Take blocks of wood to nail down in front of and behind tires to keep car from moving.
