Minilites came in both aluminum and magnesium, depending on how much $$ were in your pocket. I bought a used set in the 70s for $40 from a Datsun dealership because the rich boys in the neighborhood

I dont know the history or alloy of my minilites but they are original Minilites. Panasports look just like minilites and probably have the rights to the design but Minilite is still in business in G

they where true mags very thick looking since mag is not as strong as they where only 5 inches wide, I have seen one set in my travels, the finish of mag is but ugly , so they are painted Mike Kerr R
