The mirror in my Tiger mirror has a convex surface (for wide angle vision), not flat. I had the same problem with the outer edge of the trim falling apart, and have not come up with a good working so

Would it be impracticable to make a tool with a reverse-profile cutout, sorta like a router bit, that you could drag along the edge to "clean up" the bead afterwards? Don't know if spraying the tool

Just glob on plenty of the RTV and let it cure. Then trim it to a nice shape with an X-Acto or razor blade. I you try to shape it before it cures you will just make a mess. Stu Would it be impractica
