- It could be that the bush is worn out in the dizzy. Causing the rough running that the PO was experiencing. And now it has gotten worse. A pertronix isn't really going to fail that way. Being electro

- Sounds like an ignition problem. Frequently this is a spark plug or spark plug wire problem, but could be other things.

- How did you validate the fuel flow? It should deliver *at least* 1 Imperial pint per minute into a container from a pipe disconnected from a carb, with negligible bubbles. Someone else mentioned the
