I have one in mine that I got from Faspec (now a part of Moss, a shadow of what they were) 13 years ago, the top works fine with it. I am 90% sure that this is the same is true for the Mini Mania, M

Well for the MkIV sprite/MkIII Midget with fold-down roof, it *is* possible to fit a roll bar (single hoop with rearward braces). I have a MkIV sprite with such a setup. Mike -- -- Mike Gigante mikeg

To All Spridgeteers I sold my roll bar a couple of months ago. It fit my Mk IV. You could raise and drop the top with no problem. It was made by Kirk Engineering of Birmingham, AL. * * * * * * * * *

Am I generalizing when I say that ALL normal rollbars that we come across are made for street cars and allow the top to be used and that only the real race bars that look kinda goofy because they are

Along this same line, I am considering a roll bar for my Midget MKIV, but I would sorely miss using the tonneau cover. Has anyone been able to modify a cover, maybe by adding zippers or velcro to all

One of my Bugeyes is an ex-racer and has a very hefty roll bar that was apparently legal at one time. It has the standard loop with fore/aft braces welded to the top of the bar that go through holes

Maybe <<yours>> will be cosmetic, but I'm putting one in because I'm also putting in a proper harness instead of the inertial seatbelts. A full harness sorta limits one's ability to duck down behind

I took a rollbar off a '79 today. Secured with 14 bolts (used 9/16 Wing nuts probably wouldn't be practical unless your Ms. is willing to scoot under the car when it comes time to put up the car. Dav
