It would depend on where you are. The climate can make a difference. Here in Calif. I would recommend 20-50 weight. My preference is either Amsoil or Redline synthetic. In the transmission, use Redl

Nominally 20W/50 (Haynes), but it is dependant upon your local temperature range, and could be different winter to summer. Drivers handbooks and Workshop Manuals give details. PaulH
