- Most of the boat covers state that you shouldn't actually use their cover also. They just do that to avoid damage claims.

- Most of those boats are fiberglas with the color cast in, so they are much more resistant to chafing than the car's finish. I guess it would be ok for a Corvette ;-) David Lieb 1972 Blue

- Custom fit with snaps all the way around to hold it in place and taut. Sort of like a tonneau cover.
