- For the purpose of rebuilding my 6's clutch master and slave cylinders, I'm considering Victoria British rebuild kits. When rebuilding these cylinders, do they require honing or any special tools? G

- The clutch master cylinder is aluminum so it is usually in good shape. The slave cylinder is cast and I had it resleeved in brass. Try these guys. They did a nice job for me. http://www.brakecylinder

- Gary--I've never honed anything but steel cylinders, but I guess aluminum could also be honed, with more care. If there are scratches deep enough to let fluid get around the seal, then something has

- The slave can be honed, using a $5 "bottle brush" hone from any auto parts store. Mine had some pitting from corrosion, which cleaned up very nicely with 20 sec of honing. The master is aluminum. If
