- Make sure to leave the plug in the coil end: I've been assured that it's not good for the coil to pull the coil end plug and turn the motor over. Why worry about grounding out the ignition system? B

- For those of you who want to take the "easy" route and just unplug the coil wire from the distributor cap, you would do well to ground it if you are going to be cranking on the engine for very long.
