I replaced the clips with 4-40 pan head nylon screws. They fit inside the trim perfectly. I put nylon nuts on the back where I could, and used RTV to sort of glue them in where I couldn't. They've be

One more thing. The front fender first clip, and the rear fender last clip are NOT snap-on rivet type heads, nor the nylon substitutes, but square headed (thin) bolts that are attached with nuts and

That's it, Paul. Without those front and rear bolted fastenings, neither the original ball headed rivets that the trim slid over, to the plastic replacements, would hold that trim on after a few good
