To me $25,000.00 is a lot of money to spend on motor but I know people do it. I took a Summit and Jegs catalog and went shopping on paper. The most I could spend on parts for a small block chevy was

Larry, In More and More classes SBC records require very exotic builds to be Compettive --a lot are already on to full build NASCAR requirements--many of the records are held with previous generation
