The fasteners you are seeing don't hold nothin' on! The "bracket pad" you are seeing is actually flat steel that is welded to the frame and is threaded for the bolts. So: - remove bolts - "offer up"

Those pads are fixed to the frame and are drilled and tapped to take the bushing brakets. 5/16 fine if I remember correctly and bolts about 3/4" long will do nicely. -- Forwarded by Alan Inglis/BC R
