- I got the muffler reattached. This is the attachment that holds the actual "can" to the floorpan not an exhaust clamp. The original tab welded to the can broke off long ago. I made up a 1/8 x 1" alum

- I used a large screw type hose clamp (stainless steel of course) to clamp on to a C shaped bracket I made from a piece of steel strap which is bolted on the car with the original muffler hanger bolt
