I just did some checking. My "bugeye" has a 1500 Brake assembly Moss part number 141-720. I can live with that, there is a ton of non original stuff here. Like the Lockheed dual master cylinder. Or t

If the light you are referring to is on the panel, it's a "channel failure" light. On the later Spridgets (had this on my PO'd '74) the are LF-RR, and RF-LR brake "channels"....it's a "split" system

David: Yes, it is the brake light switch. Pretty simple operation, push the brake, the tit on the brake pedal pushes the light switch to close the circuit and the brake light comes on. Mine went bad

Glad to hear it finally got it home. Moss Part number 141-720 is not the light switch. That part is the Channel failure switch as Capt Bob explained. This part operates the little dash light wheneve
