The tube from my oil seperator goes directly to the "Y" hoses in between the carbs. I'm wondering if I can splice a generic PVC valve in there. Do you think that might work? I could probably fudge so

I've got the same concern with my 77B. I bought an extra year by getting it inspected in December. My hope is that the mechanic that inspects it won't have any idea of what the car should have on it.

If the rule is that it has to have a PCV valve, you might have some talking to do. There is a little pipe on the carb that acts like a PCV valve by its placement in the vacuum prior to the throttle

Do PCV valves actually differ? I thought their primary use was to vent crankcase and only allow gases to pass one way(out). Do PVC valves impart some back pressure? I thought a PCV was a PCV, althoug

I don't know - I keep telling myself that there must be something special about it if VB charges $139 for it. I can't imagine what makes it different from any other PCV valve. -NORY Don't assume that
