One more question today please. I just picked up a new PCV valve (napa part #2-9254) as advised on the list. What I don't know is which direction to install it. One end is threaded the other isn't. W

No one has said yet. when held threaded end down the loose piece inside seems to be supported by a spring. do I want the intake manifold sucking on the valve and trying to compress the spring ? (sorr

yes! You want the valve to close up when high vacuum is applied. The original valve works the same. The valve tries to regulate the flow so that the impact on the air/fuel mixture is constant and ca

I just noticed they have an arrow, at least on mine, pointing towards the threads. This should indicate flow and therefore show the threads screw into the intake manifold. Alan
