Try driving it and pulling out the choke at speed, if it doesn't help, it's in the ignition. Cracked cap is a likley suspect. Or crappy wires, look at them when running at night. -- Frank Clarici Tom

I don't think a Colortune will indicate mixture strength when the engine is under load. Daniel1312

The colourtune is always in the yellow, no matter how lean I turn the carbs. My '60 MGA would always tune up to a bunsen blue no problem. The car was running rich with evidence from the tail pipe. I
