Perhaps the easiest paint to work with is Acrylic Lacquer, because it dries on contact and therefore is difficult to get runs. Defects can be compounded out easily and you can achieve great results

Hi Brian! Lacquer would be by *far* the easiest stuff to use for a beginner but it might not be available where you live. Second choice would be acrylic enamel which was OEM on your Spit. Dupont Cent
