- I half in When I had my '60 MGA (back in 1965), I don't recall the stick bottoming out or the stop ring moving, although it has been a long time. I suggest having someone measure theirs from bottom

- Whoohoo! What a find. More on that later. Absolutely not a good thing. on the bottom, and I need to push the rubber seal on the dip stick hole down over the shaft to make it seal. Absolutely normal.
