- Depends on the offset. I run 175/70 on the stock Rostyles on the '72 Midget with no rubbing problems. You should be able to do the same on the Bugeye. I have 185/60 with 1/4 inch spacers on the rear

- Thanks to all that input tire sizes for the Minator 13X5 Minilite wannabes. The general consensus was 175/70 size. That is what I will be looking for. There are two more problems now with these rims.

- Not sure what the clearance translates to in terms of lug stud size. But if you can make do with 7/16" it would mean taking out less material. Also it is not just the hubs that will have to drilled.

- Mike on the mag wheels it isn't the size of the stud that holds the wheel it is the outside diameter of the lug nuts. I think they are all the same size in this regard, no matter what size the studs

- Has anyone tried just drilling and tapping the old lug hole and bolting in a socket head cap screw? Thats 170,000 psi tensile strength alloy steel. I think I read about it in a book at Barnes and Nob
