To verify the engine size is easy with AMC engines. The displacement is cast into the side of the block, just clear some of the grunge and you should be able to see a big 360 on the block and if you

Yes there is an easy way to verify which engine you have. First .. of course all 74 cars were built with the 360, Second you can tell by which side of the engine the air conditioner compressor is on.
