Ok - rebuild kit on both su's (hs2's) complete. The front carb had a bent needle(which perhaps explains some of the trouble you were having with it, Gerard?). Replaced needles on both carbs. Install

use a screwdriver and raise the piston on one carb slightly. If the idle speeds up, lean out the other carb, if the idle slows down, richen the other carb. this should be done with the engine warm. u

That was what I found with Bill Loeb's carbs. One correct spring, the other unidentified. It calls for springs that are 2 1/2 Oz. at 2 5/8" inch as I recall. Found one in a used carb at hand. However
