- I'm trying to get the new spit started. No spark, not anywhere. Not from plug wires,not from HT lead. Installed new coil, new points, and new condenser. still nada. Wires to coil hooked up correctly

- Ken, You need to check the points to make sure they aren't grounded: 1. Remove the dist. cap and rotor. 2. Remove the low tension wire from dist. (it goes to the coil) 3. Rotate the eng. so the point

- Mabe you have a short from the -ve side of the coil to ground, thus the coil's tension is never releaced. You'll get a spark posible when you turn the ignition off, or disconnect everything on the 'v
