- Thanks Charley, my weber has an auto choke. My pump does not stop what so ever. While engine runs I noticed a strong smell of excess gas burning. I guess I'll have to take out the pump and readjust.

- When my fuel pump went out it was running constantly, so that might be your problem also. I'm not sure what the problem was, I suppose it might of had a hole in the diaphragm so that it wasn't reall

- Hi list, solved my starting problems today. The power to the choke had disconnected and thus the car ran only for a little while. Now I have to solve all the oil leaks. Nobody told me MGs leaked oil
