What is the correct size for the hub socket for a 70 B (non-banjo axle) VB says 1 1/4. I was just about to purchase a 1 5/16 SK socket @ $29 a piece. That could be an expensive mistake. Please respon

1 5/16" AF it is. A number of people have said they are too big to fit inside the hub and have to grind them down or get specials. Mine came off the shelf and is 1.73" outside diameter and fits easil

It requires a 1-5/16" socket. I took out a bank loan and bought a Snap-On part no. TW421 1/2" drive for the task. Be sure to measure the tube diameter first because you will need a thin-wall socket
