I'm afraid I missed what kind of car you're having this problem with. In any event, probably the single best means of removing the bearing race is to apply heat... lots and lots of it. If you have a

While I'm sure you got some replies on this, here's my $.02 worth. I don't think you could have "welded" the inner bearing race to the spindle, if it was hot enough to weld, you probably would have
