- FWIW, I recently bought a rebuilt A-type OD for a TR4 tranny, installed in my '3A, and was told in no uncertin terms that anything other than straight 30W oil would void the warranty, besides ruinin

- I think that you will find that 30 weight motor oil is the same viscosity as 90 gear oil. Vic Whitmore 76 Spitfire Thornhill, Ontario
