Hi Tigers I have finally finished the weekend goal of installing the engine and trans back ino my Tiger.Took less than 3 hours to install engine and trans thru the bottom.With headers.And re-install

Tony NO, the large (thick) side is in the back. And they should be riveted to the crossmember so you don't have to tape them in place.. think it takes two large pop-rivets on each side. Gary

One of the best places to get bolts for the crossmember is a Caterpillar dealer. They only stock Grade 8+ bolts. I bought bolts from them for my crossmember plus numerous other parts of my Tiger. The

When I took the crossmember off my current project there were NO shims. I did not realize something was missing until I took of the crossmember of my second project--lo and behold--shims! Very corro
