I believe that your 76 and my 77 are the same with regards to the oil = cooler. The later cars have the cooler mounted behind the lower = valence, in front of the steering rack, below the radiator.

Yo John, You're sure right. The a panel runs from the lower front of the radiator to the front apron under the grill. It's call the Front Radiator Duct Panel. It's item 22 on page 41 of the Moss Moto
