- Greetings to All, The NAPA Gold #1068 is correct for the inverted spin on filter on later Bs. It does have the anti drain valve. Many other brands do not. Happy MGing Eric in Fla.

- I bought an spin on oil filter adapter for my MGB and It recommends the Fram 2825 filter. After mounting the unit (I have the oil cooler) I discovered the 2850 is too long. I'm a little amazed at all

- I don't recognize those numbers. The Fram spin on for an MGB is PH16A. However, Fram is the only filter I no long use (including those made by Fram such as Quaker State). Andrew 73MGB x 2

- It sounds strange to me too. Besides, if there is a problem with the oil filter, why hasn't he replaced it? I would be more prone to suspect bad (thin) oil or worn rod bearings. Or both. David

- Low oil pressure? Try main bearings. If it were an oil filter don't you think the guy would have replaced it before he decided to sell the car? An oil filter is a couple of bucks. Larry Hoy
